Yuefeng Alloys plans to raise 585 million yuan to increase its production of battery aluminum materials.

On January 15th, Yuefeng Aluminum Alloy Co., Ltd. released the prospectus for the issuance of stocks to specific parties, aiming to raise no more than 585 million yuan. The funds will be used for the construction of a project with an annual production capacity of 630,000 tons of aluminum alloy ingots and 500,000 tons of aluminum plates and strips. The announcement stated that the aluminum plates and strips products of this fundraising project will mainly be used for battery foil blanks, battery shells, aluminum cans, aluminum materials for 3C products, aluminum materials for oil tankers, etc., which are in line with green packaging, new energy vehicles, and new energy storage batteries and other fields. The company planning for this fundraising project intends to allocate 40% of the aluminum plate and strip production capacity to the production of battery shell materials and battery foil blanks, directly connecting to the market demands of power batteries and energy storage batteries.
